Dynamic Full-Stack Web Platform

A production-ready dynamic website built with Next.js, Supabase & Vercel.

A fully dynamic, database-driven web platform built from the ground up using Next.js and Supabase. The application uses Supabase for backend services and data management, with a modern Next.js frontend and responsive UI. Content and project data are managed dynamically through the backend instead of relying on hardcoded static content. The application is deployed and hosted on Vercel for production.

A full walkthrough of this project is in the works.

How It Works

Next.js Frontend

Built the responsive website interface and reusable components using Next.js and React.

Supabase Backend

Connected Supabase for database management and dynamic content storage.

Dynamic Content

Implemented database-driven content so website sections can be managed and displayed dynamically.

Production Deployment

Configured the production environment and deployed the application on Vercel.

Technical Challenges

Dynamic Data Integration

Problem

The website needed to display and manage content dynamically instead of relying on hardcoded data across the frontend.

Fix

Integrated Supabase as the backend database and connected it with the Next.js application to fetch and render content dynamically.

const { data, error } = await supabase .from("projects") .select("*") .order("created_at", { ascending: false }); if (error) { throw new Error(error.message); } return data;

Production Deployment & Environment Setup

Problem

The application needed to run reliably in production while keeping backend configuration and environment variables separate from the source code.

Fix

Configured environment variables for Supabase and deployed the Next.js application through Vercel with a production-ready setup.
